The mission of Trilok Fusion Arts is to bring together artists of varied cultural backgrounds, to collaborate and create performances that embody the roots of their respective traditions and find a common language in the space of performance. Through its multi-cultural programming, and the fusion of diverse art forms, Trilok Fusion Arts aims to preserve tradition while inspiring audiences and students to develop a solid understanding of their art, and deep appreciation for world cultures.
The core vision of the company has been to promote cultural education by presenting and teaching works created by blending Indian classical performance forms with Western artistic traditions. The core activities of the company include a four week summer program for children, year round dance classes in Bharatanatyam (Indian Classical Dance style) and a presenting program where new stage productions are created through a process of collaboration between artists across cultures, with a focus on Indian Classical Dance and Jazz Music.
Trilok School was founded in 2007 with the goal of nourishing all aspects of the child and opening the world to each child through the arts. Our program features an arts & story-based curriculum and emphasizes learning through travel, integrating different cultures, and caring for the environment.
The Trilok Fusion Center for Arts and Education also offers a community center, rehearsal and performances spaces for local artists, and workspaces for local artists and entrepreneurs.
