The Eugene Zitwer Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was formed in New York on March 18, 1991. The Foundation was established to keep Eugene Zitwer's memory alive by perpetuating the love and laughter he generously gave during his lifetime. By providing entertainment, toys and special events to seriously ill children in the New York area, the Fund brings love, laughter and emotional support to these children and their families during their times of need. The Foundation also refurbishes hospital pediatric playrooms, provides funding for medical procedures, provides funding for professionally supervised extended playroom hours, provides funding for holiday programs, and purchases video libraries and equipment. The charity is run solely by volunteers with the exception of hired performers for the children we serve.
