Rwanda Gift for Life supports women who were raped during the genocide and are now living with AIDS, to regain their health through access to anti-retrovirals and good nutrition, receive trauma counseling and emotional support, equip their children for school, and participate in income generating activities. The women are supported for a maximum of five years, a bridge that takes them from a life of serious illness, without hope, to one in which they are able to actively plan for their future and their children.
