The Earlville Opera House Arts Center is home to the charming 1892 historic theater and the two noteworthy Art Galleries that currently host more than 25 diverse performances and 10 exhibits every year. Tours are free. Exhibits feature all media and styles from contemporary art to quilts. The EOH Artisan’s Gift Shop also features the work of over 35 regional artists. The performance series is extremely diverse and includes folk, rock, blues, Celtic, classical, world music, musical theater, drama, jazz, Zydeco and Cajun music, bluegrass and country music. From Circus Camp to children’s theater workshops, from volunteer opportunities to master classes, the Opera House offers something for everyone. The free EOH Family Series features matinees that expand opportunities for children and their families to engage in the arts. Musicians and audiences alike enjoy the exquisite acoustics of this National Historic Landmark Theater. It is a marvelous example of turn-of-the-century architecture. Hours are Tues-Fri, 10-5 and Sat, 12-3 and for performances.
