Character Studies Productions Inc 202 W 107th New York, NY 10025 http://www.characterstudies.netCharacter Studies, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit education company founded in 2001, creates documentaries for PBS about great characters from plays and musicals. Our culture’s best playwrights, actors, directors, choreographers and composers explore their stage work on Broadway and in America’s regional theaters. These unique interviews for public television are also used to develop middle and high school communications and arts education curriculum materials to teach English, social studies, cultural history, the relevance of theatre, and more. Character Studies trains student and adult interns in media production, entertainment law and other areas. The Archives Cultural Heritage Project makes available the unique conversations about drama, dance, and other aspects of the performing arts for free.
