Beginning with Children Foundation has been a pioneer in New York City education reform since 1989, when Joe and Carol Reich established it to create an innovative public school in partnership with the city school system. The BwCF schools, Beginning with Children Charter School, Community Partnership Charter School and our newest school, Beginning with Children Charter School 2, educate through a rich, liberal arts program with special supports and opportunities to develop the potential of students from under-resourced communities.
