LINC inspires and enlists communities to create a better future for our children through early reading success. The simple but effective approach is grounded in three beliefs:

1. All children will read well, given enough one-on-one support
2. Every community has the strengths and resources to foster early reading success for its children, and
3. Sustained, coordinated, community-based effort can activate “literacy-rich” neighborhoods that will provide this support.

As the catalyst for this effort, LINC cultivates collaborations and leverages community resources to provide expanded opportunities for children to read and, ultimately, to succeed. Whether in schools, parks, community centers, or libraries—indeed, wherever children are found—LINC supported programs are available.

Support Literacy Inc. (LINC) with the following gifts:

$25,000 - Sponsors a literacy-rich neighborhood with LINC's comprehensive set of 3 key programs (reading partners, parent workshops, community engagement)
$10,000 - Brings a reading partner program to a school for one year
$5,000 - Supports a full year of LINC literacy celebrations including Themed Read-A-Thons, Reading Corners and Animal Day Celebrations
$2,500 - Sponsors a parent engagement program, which shows parents and caregivers how to connect with the school to support their child's grade-level reading development
$1,000 - Sponsors a reading partner program for an entire school year, which uses the power of peers to develop literacy skills and build a strong foundation of positive attitudes about reading.
$500 - Sponsors a yearlong library program, which helps our youngest readers get valuable out-of-school time literacy support
