What Is Your Nonprofit’s True Cost Story?

In recent years, leaders behind the Overhead Myth campaign have called upon nonprofits to understand and tell funders about the full costs of achieving their missions. How can nonprofit CEOs and executive directors, as well as finance, development, and program leaders work to evaluate their full or true costs and tell their financial stories effectively?

If you find terms like “indirect” and “overhead” to be murky and unclear, haven’t recently undertaken an analysis of full/true cost of programs at your organization, or are unsure how to craft a fully-loaded budget to submit to a funder, join us and bring your questions on January 30!  The program will include information about:

  • How to identify shared and indirect costs
  • What different cost allocation methodologies are needed to ensure allocations are appropriately substantiated
  • How to build indirect costs into program budgets to understand the real costs of program delivery
  • How to communicate the story of your organization’s “overhead” to funders and other external stakeholders

Who Should Attend

This program is especially intended for nonprofit executive directors and CEOs, CFOs, COOs, board members, development officers, program officers, nonprofit advisors, grant-makers, and other interested executives. Register now – seating is limited.
