Using Alternative Funding Accounts to Benefit your Budget and your Employees: 

FSA, HRA or HSA?

The use of funding accounts to help employees set aside money for out of pocket medical costs is becoming increasing popular.  Each account has its benefits and limitations. Choosing the right funding account to match your benefits philosophy and budget can be tricky.

Participants in this session will gain an understanding of the use of Alternative Funding Accounts (Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Reimbursement Arrangements, Health Savings Accounts, etc.) to help lower health insurance premiums while protecting employees from excessive out of pocket costs. A detailed explanation of the various accounts and the reasons why you may (or may not) want to use them will be shared. In addition, there will be a panel discussion of nonprofit human resource staff who will share their successes, challenges and advice in developing and implementing alternative accounts.
