Welcome to NYTAP’s first 2010 event!
When: Friday, April 9, 8:30-11:30 am
Where: UJA Federation 150 E 59th Street, Room 710
Fee: $25.00
BACKGROUND
“Never let a good crisis go to waste – it is always the opportunity to try something new.”
-Rahm Emanuel
The Management Assistance (MA) community of greater New York is incredibly abundant in creativity, resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. NYTAP’s first 2010 event is designed to mine this rich lode of talent with three goals in mind:
1.) Foster more and deeper connections within our community;
2.) Share successful strategies for engaging clients with fellow MA providers; and
3.) Assist fellow MA providers by brainstorming solutions to the specific issues we face in this deeply challenging and ever-evolving economic environment.
THE EVENT
Part 1 – Networking – Time for both informal and facilitated networking – bring lots of business cards! Light refreshments will be served.
Part 2 – Successful Marketing Strategies – Several speakers will have about five minutes each to quickly outline the successful marketing strategies that make their MA practices thrive. Each speaker will be followed by a brief Q&A. These presentations are designed to capture some innovative approaches and universal principles that we can all apply to our own practice.
Part 3 – Collective Wisdom – In this fast-paced segment, attendees are invited to share a current challenge they have in engaging or helping clients, followed by brainstorming with fellow attendees. These mini strategy-sessions are intended to tap into the collective wisdom and creativity of fellow MA providers and to begin conversations that will continue after the event. You can raise your hand and share at the event or submit an issue in advance via email.
NYTAP will collect the ideas and strategies presented by speakers and attendees, and disseminate a summary of the event afterwards.
