Starting and building a
nonprofit can be an exciting experience. However, it can also be
a daunting and frustrating one at the same time. This
workshop, led by Randall Quan, Managing Director, Community Resource Exchange,
will help you understand what you need to do in order to move your organization
from vision to reality. The workshop will touch on topics such as
developing a program plan, creating a budget, building your Board, hiring
staff, and making the case for funding. By the end of the workshop,
you will have an increased understanding of what it takes to get your organization
off the ground. A question-and-answer period will allow participants to
address specific problems or questions they may have.
This workshop is for
those who have just started a nonprofit or are trying to
transition from an all-volunteer group into a staffed organization.
Please note:
Registration is open to current nonprofit NPCC members only.
It may be limited to one person per organization due to space constraints.
