Since 1970, the Women’s Center for Education and Career Advancement (WCECA) has maintained its commitment to the goal of economic self-sufficiency for NYC women, especially those who are underserved and underrepresented. We provide the tools women require to successfully navigate the system, in order to become full participants in today’s economy. Through innovative technology resources, job readiness programs, career services and financial literacy programs for girls and young women, we educate and advocate for socially just public policies and opportunities that lead to the empowerment of women and the betterment of their lives and the lives of their children.
