For 16 years, DanceNOW has bent the rules, discovered the new, challenged the established, and honored the past. We offer distinct, accessible and fun destination 'events' to excite our audiences while challenging, sustaining, and moving the careers of today’s dance innovators forward. We invite you to "Find a New Artistic Crush” amidst the bustling and vast landscape of dance innovation in New York City. The Festival at Dance Theater Workshop and Dancemopolitan at Joe’s Pub, work hand-in-hand with our Raw Festival studio series, created in partnership with New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to identify new artists, and the Silo Artist Residency in Pennsylvania to advance the artistic careers of more than 200 New York City dance makers each year, while offering New York City audiences and the communities of Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania new and exciting artistic experiences. Take a new journey with us through the vast terrain of artistic voices – diverse, passionate and highly innovative - that make up the New York City dance community.
