Turf is an environmental stewardship project located in the Southeast Bronx. Turf's mission is to support small farms, improve the quality of food available in our community, and work to create a sustainable food system in New York. Turf accomplishes this through community partnerships, educational programs, volunteer opportunities, and internships. Turf believes that in order to carry out our mission, we must actively involve residents, community organizations and businesses, and local farmers in the process.
