The St. Lawrence County Arts Council works to promote and develop the arts in our region. We represent all areas of the arts - visual arts, crafts, music, theatre, dance, and literary arts. We serve a broad rural region of northern New York by providing arts information and resources, facilitating arts education, and offering a wide range of arts classes and programs for all ages. We also showcase regional art, crafts, music & literature in our gift shop and gallery We advocate for the value of the arts in New York communities through our work with local, county and state leaders. Anyone who beleives in the value of the arts in our lives is invited to support our work, and anyone is welcome to join the SLC Arts Council.
