AIDS Service Center NYC graciouly serves as the CapraCare fiscal conduit accepting and transferring all donations on behalf of CapraCare. To allocate your donation to CapraCare, scroll down to the blue box below and write "Haitian Relief" in the field titled "Designate your donation to a specific program or fund." Founded in 1990, AIDS Service Center NYC (ASC) is a non-profit community-based organization that provides HIV testing and counseling, medical care coordination, and nationally renowned HIV peer-education. ASC's welfare-to-work programs, and basic needs services (including housing placement, onsite meals, and a clothing bank) address poverty and other challenges faced by low-income communities. ASC’s motto, “helping many, one by one,” embodies our mission of building community, connection, and stability for the thousands of New Yorkers we serve each year. We have three Community Centers in Union Square, East Harlem, and the Lower East Side. With programs that heal mind, body, and spirit, ASC is a lifeline for women, men and families coping with HIV and AIDS.
