Kids Creative is a non-profit organization with the mission to use the arts as a tool for instilling today's youth with personal characteristics and skills vital to becoming the next generation of peacemakers and world shapers. We are passionate about empowering all youth from New York City's diverse communities to take action and make change in their lives. Our peace education philosophy fosters confidence, creativity, conflict resolution skills and a strong sense of community in participating youths.
Kids Creative accomplishes its mission by offering creative theatre programs for Pre-K to High School students after school, in summer camp and through workshops. In each program, we challenge young people to utilize their creative energy and to collaborate with their classmates in order to write and perform original theater pieces, music, and visual arts.
