About Brooklyn Center
Established in 1954, Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College (BCBC) is a community-based presenting organization located on the scenic campus of Brooklyn College. The mission of BCBC is to present outstanding performing arts and arts education programs, reflective of Brooklyn's diverse communities, at affordable prices. A central part of BCBC’s mission is to introduce young people to the performing arts, enhance their creativity, and expose them to new cultures and ideas. As one of the largest arts education presenters in Brooklyn, BCBC annually welcomes over 70,000 people, including 46,000 schoolchildren, parents, and teachers.
